Hi, my name is Leona. I'm 12 years old and have a difficult past. I was forgotten, emaciated, with wounds and fear in my eyes. But since I came here, I've been coming back to life. I'm gaining strength, learning to trust, wagging my tail and cuddling with people more and more often. I'm calm, smart, and very grateful. I'm happy here, but I dream of a real home—a warm place, a soft bed, and soothing touch. I'm looking for a temporary home, or perhaps a long-term one. In return, I'll give you my whole canine heart.
