My name is Zolo, and I'm an older dog who's been through quite a bit in life... Don't ask how a dog feels when it loses everything after all these years-I'll just say that at first, my heart broke with longing. But you know what? Over time, I've realized there are good people here too. And although I still carry a hint of sadness in my eyes, a gray smile appears more and more often on my face. During this special holiday season, I'm not asking for a home- though I'd love one. I'm asking for food, a warm blanket, treats, and maybe something soft under my paws- for myself and the other senior dogs who are waiting with me. Because even if we don't have our own people yet, thanks to your support, we can feel that someone remembers us. And that gives us hope... so much needed, especially on winter evenings.
