Diego here- a dog who is relearning the meaning of trust and safety. My world was once filled with fear, but thanks to the patience and tenderness of my owners, I increasingly feel that a human can be a good friend. Although I still get frightened by loud noises or sudden movements, I'm learning to take gentle walks and cherish the moments spent with those I trust. I dream of a home where I have the time and space to open myself to love and peace- a place where someone understands my boundaries and gives me a chance at happiness. This holiday season, together with other dogs, we ask for food and treats that help us survive and give us the strength to continue learning about life. Perhaps you will give me this special gift- a home full of understanding and tenderness?
