Hi, I'm Maja! When I arrived at the shelter, I wanted to disappear. Every voice, every movement made me freeze. For a long time, I didn't know a soothing touch, or a person I could trust. Today, I'm slowly opening up. I'm still cautious, but I already know that not everyone means harm. Walks bring me joy, though I still hesitate sometimes. I feel best in the company of other dogs- they give me a sense of security and help me take bolder steps. I dream of a peaceful home and a caregiver who will give me time and support. I need someone who understands that love must be earned with patience. If you can, help me and my canine friends get through this time. Every bag of food, every box of treats brings us immense joy and a little bit of the care we so desperately need.
