My name is Landrynka, and I'm fifteen years old. I had a home, but no one cared about me. When I finally found the foundation, I was a shadow of my former self—sick, exhausted, and in immense pain. I underwent several surgeries that saved my life. Now I need specialized food and a handful of medications to function, but my aunt and uncle are doing everything in their power to provide it. Thanks to them, I can once again enjoy peace and a warm place—for the first time in my life, I feel truly safe. This holiday season is a symbol of hope and the goodness that flows from you.
