My name is Mop, I'm 7 years old, and I still don't understand why I was left alone. My master left home one day and never came back. I waited- for hours, days, weeks- within four walls, without food, without water, without any hope. Staring at a door that never opened. Later, I learned he'd gone abroad for work, and I? I simply wasn't needed anymore. Today I'm safe, I'm learning to trust again, and I truly believe that thanks to you, this holiday season will be the beginning of something good for me.
