My name is Ponurak. I'm two years old, and not everything in life has been easy for me. Sometimes I'm afraid- of people, of noise, of moving too quickly. And when I'm afraid, I might bite. Not because I'm bad. I just don't know who I can trust yet. But if you give me time and patience, something changes. My heart stops pounding, my tail starts wagging slightly. And then I snuggle up. With my whole being. Quietly, peacefully, as if the world were disappearing, leaving only the warmth of your hands.
