My name is Verka. I came to the shelter as a half-wild dog. I have never been petted or walked on a leash in my life. For the first year I stayed hidden in the kennel the whole time. Currently, I have been living in the shelter for over 3 years and only recently started to leave the pen. Sometimes I even go outside the shelter with a volunteer, but then I quickly want to go back. I'm tiny, fat and fluffy, people like me. However, no one is brave enough to take me with them. It would be best if I initially found myself in a yard with a warm kennel and people could slowly gain my trust. For now, there is no chance of me entering any building or moving even 100 meters away from the shelter.
